What is in a Name?

When students travel overseas for their education, many of them choose ‘English’ names. They do this for several reasons, sometimes their English teacher in their home country gave them an English name, sometimes they translate their name into English, sometimes they choose a similar sounding name in English to make it easier for native English speakers to pronounce their name. For example, ‘Ray’ is the most common name for a CEO in Canada, Howard in the U.S.
