During the maintenance window users will not be able to log into the Corporate Netware System (CNS) or be able to access data on the network drives such as your H: drive. Netstorage and FTP will also be unavailable during the maintenance period.

The group of computer resources known as grid01 through grid10 have now reached the end of their useful life. Two nodes (grid05 and grid10) have already failed and will not be repaired, and the remainder will be discontinued on Monday June 4th, 2012.

Users of the Linux nodes (grid06 through grid09) are redirected to the “cc” nodes (cc01 through cc04). Users of the Solaris nodes (grid01 through grid04) are redirected to the login servers “merak”, “mira”, and “toliman”.

It is IST’s intention to add additional units to the “cc” group of research computing resources during 2012.
