MHIKNET Survey of Training and Education Needs

Manitoba’s Health Information and Knowledge Network (MHIKNET) provides library services to staff of Manitoba Health, Seniors & Active Living, fee-for-service physicians in Manitoba, and staff of participating Regional Health Authorities outside of Winnipeg.

This voluntary survey is intended to help MHIKNET identify the training and education needs of MHIKNET clients and will inform the content, location, format, and scheduling of sessions offered by MHIKNET in the coming months.  MHIKNET can provide training on: library orientation, PubMed and other evidence-based resources, managing references, keeping current with the literature, and many more!

The survey takes just a few minutes to fill out and even if you have never used MHIKNET services, we would appreciate your participation so we can better serve you in the future!

CMA Infobase Now Called CPG Infobase!

The Canadian Medical Association’s Clinical Practice Guidelines database has changed its name to CPG InfoBase™. “The CPG Infobase is a database of evidence-based Canadian clinical practice guidelines (CPGs). Maintained by Joule™, a CMA company, it includes approximately 1,200 CPGs developed or endorsed by authoritative medical or health organizations in Canada.” (https://www.cma.ca/Infobase)

You can also access CPG Infobase from our website by going to our Toolkits. The toolkits gather together a variety of online library resources that are freely available to the general public.
